I'm really confused as to why this trigger isn't working. Any help would be greatly apreciated since yea...i'm not to great with triggers. Event: Unit - A unit owned by Player 1 (Red) Begins casting an ability Condition: (Ability being cast) Equal to Mana Flare Action: Unit - Hide (Casting unit) I've tried Unit-Hide (triggering unit) but that still didn't work. It just, doesn't do anything. Thanks for any help. |

hmm worked for me i tried it using a paladin casting divine armor and it worked (no condition though) might be the spell ur casting, try changing the event to starts the effect of an ability or begins channeling an abillity maybe? |

you can always put mana flare in the spell to hide the casting unit you know |

I'm not using UMSWE and sorry, one I don't know what you're talking about. I did a test with a game=text message and I think my problem has to do with mana flare, since my test message displayed fine. Anyone know how mana flare works? I have it on a different unit, with the spell having a different graphic. The spell graphic just displays over the unit's head instead of that unit transforming into it. I want to hide the unit but not the spell. Ideas anyone? |

Lol, I shouldn't even respond to you. I don't know what you're talking about when you say put mana flare in the spell. Mana flare IS the spell. Thanks for flaming and please don't respond, I don't even want to hear it. Anyone who can give me a proper answer, I would love to hear from... |

In the shame of being killed by draco I say: I am sorry what I was trying to say was do something like this - - - 1.Make a spell with mana flare 2.Insted of using triggers just put hide on your spell becouse your trigger hide is what the elfs do its a waiting type of thing put something like (dont know exect right now) - - Actions Unit-triggering unit turn invisable |

I would either say make sure all the checkboxes are selected in the Forces and Player Properties window, or try to use it in an IF/Then/Else. |
