ok i just finished my new game!!!! ;)

PLEASE DELETE MY OTHER POST LIKE THIS ONE THE MAP WAS BUGGED AND I HAD TO REMOVE IT.

here is a descrption--
all chars are cloaked. you have a spell to detect other heros and a skill called assassanate. one hit kills with assassanate so if you do detect a other hero you kill them instantly. Also every 15 seconds your hero will uncloak for 1 second allowing people to see you just long enuff to know where you are. and on the way to each base there are guard towers that allow you to see units that are coming towards your base so if they are near your base you are at an advantage. but killing heroes does not give you exp. to get exp you must use another spell called conquor and take over one of thier outposts. an outpost is just a way of preventing them from taking over your secret base. no one can come near your secret base untill they have destroyed all of your outposts. once you destroy all of a players outposts you can conquor thier secret base. that is how you destroy a player. once you control no more secret bases than you lose. Also there is a battle every 5 minutes and if you win you get a good amount of exp. there are 2 serperate types of battles that are free for all and timed for only 1 and 1/2 minutes so they don't take up much time. one you have to die the fewest times the other you have to kill the most. ok well that is all i can think of about this game. if i think of more i will add it. please please test it and give me feedback.

(Would be higher with some bugs fixed.)

-BUGS:
1. When reach level 5 have get a skill point, but can't use it till level 6, need more abilities.
2. Can't attack/kill sheep, they like to get in the way
3. Its easy to sneek past towers, just blink to the top of the cliff and walk along the top/bottom of the map.
4. Some of the "Outposts" are close enough to the cliff that if you do #3 you can "Conquer" the outpost without even blinking down from the cliff
5. In the "Kill" area/battle it gives negative kills for casting the spell that lets you see invisible units

-Not like
1. The names of your heroes, some people may find 1 in particular offensive.

-Like
1. The concept of the game.

-Make better
1. More heroes to choose from
2. More abilities for the heroes
3. The ability for player to use gold to build guard towers (but if the base gets claimed, all towers you built in it will be too...)

I just renamed it, not sure if it works, but I'll try it later (in like 10 hours when I get back home from work :P)

Looking forward to trying it though, sounds cool :) (yaya, lets see :P)

It is a real link, just rename the file

It will work. :)

It does that because he has a ' in the file name, and so it added a \ but if you rename the file it will still work.

ok i have fixed the first and easiest problem to fix. I changed the name of my map to Supra Godz Spy Arena rather than being Supra God's Spy Arena so that people can download it and actually not have to change the name. lol sorry bout that guys. and next down to the real problems.

FIRST off let me say the need more abilities thing i can't do anything about that because i used all 5 for all heroes. BUT what i will do to remedy this is make more levels for each spell. that is no big deal. and i will mess around with the level skip and so on. i will get it fixed no worries.

NEXT i will mess around with the sheep thing. maybe i will let you be able to assassanate them. i had it like that on purpose and i did realize that they get in the way. i hope that you know why the sheep are there tho. it is for the demon hunter looking hero to use his ultimate. lol he turns to a sheep but keeps all his spells. so he is mroe disguised. at any rate i will get something to fix the sheep problem.

NEXT about sneaking past the towers. yes you can sneak past them but you are still informed of people coming in your direction. i will add more towers tho to remedy that problem no big deal. i did that on purpose to allow more stealthy approaches but i guess people don't like it so it will be changed.

NEXT about the not having to blink down. OK i admit it. i knew about this bug but i just wanted to release this map so i sorta forgot about it in all the hype. no bigge i will make the cliff farther away. easy fix.

NEXT about the detect spell in the battle arena. ouch this is a big one. i know exactly why it is doing this too but it never crossed my mind that that would happen. i will get this one fixed RIGHT AWAY. i can't believe i overlooked that one.

NEXT about the hero names. ok i thought it was funny at the time but i understand that it may make people mad so i will go ahead and change that. no bigge. i just have a strange sense of humor and you can tell i'm kinda wierd just by looking at my sig. lol

NEXT i'm glad you like the concept. all jokes aside tho this map was sorta an accident. it started out as a spy map where the towers would detect you and if they spotted you guards would appear and all kinds of crazy things and it just ended up like this. i actually only made this map in 3 days and it is a side map taking me away from the boredom of trying to terrain a 256 x 256 map that i am making a hero arena out of. with nothing but custom spells. well almost. any wayz i just thought of this to take my mind off of boring terraining.

SUGGESTIONS

FIRST more heros are deffinately on the way. this is only a very very early version and as you can see has lots of bugs still to be hammered out. as i said it was made in three days. that is why you see such a bad hero selection.

NEXT more abilities. now here is the hard part. what i am thinking of is making instead of the reward for exp in a battle. i want to make the reward a spellbook. so that when you do get that spellbook you will have more spells to choose from. and they will be good spells too. not like the boring ones in the map already. my only problem is i can't think of good spells to add. damage spells are no good. because assassanate does it all. IF YOU HAVE ANY SPELL IDEAS PLEASE POST THEM. I CAN MAKE ALMOST ANY SPELL WORK. BUT PLEASE DON'T POST SPELLS BASED ON DAMAGE.

LASTLY ok here is a hard thing to do. making towers change with the outpost that you later on built may be hard to do. i myself considered this but i'm not quiote sure how i can go about it. i will mess with triggers some and see what i can come up with tho. i will try but i'm making no promises. plus. if you can build towers than what would stop you from making one in other players bases and right in the middle of the map. i don't know i will give it my best.

1. Used all 5 hero abilities? The abilities you gave the hero that are not able to be leveled up... (Which is I think 2 of them... Conquer and Detection) Why not just make them Unit abilities and give them to the hero that way, then you will free up the 5 limit.

2. Well, you could let the people kill sheep.. And let the hero that needs sheep build a building that makes sheep.. (of course give the sheep to the neutral passive when they are made...) or make a trigger, and a variable:

  Pick all units controlled by Player (neutral hostile)
    If (picked unit) is of type (sheep)
      Then
         Set variable "sheepcount" = "sheepcount" +1
      Else do nothing
   Set variable "needsheep" = 100 - "Sheepcount"
   Do loop for count "needsheep"
      Create unit (sheep) at random point in region (playable map area)
   Set varaible "sheepcount" = 0
This trigger makes it so there are always exactly 100 sheep on the map.

3. Well, its a good idea but its TOO easy to sneak past that way... make it a little harder and it would be fine. (like put some creeps up there that can see invisible units....)

4. The hero names didn't bother me any, but I was just letting you know, some people don't have that great a sense of humer and can't laugh at things like that...

5. Abilities....
a. Modify "Cloud", rename it Blinding Cloud. If you can make it so it doesn't channnel... It already has all the fields in the object editor to add Miss Percentages (not applicable in this case) and movement and block modifiers (put a negative movement modifier to slow enemies, make it so spells can't be cast by anyone in the cloud, and make it so it effects anything.)
b. Windwalk based spell/ability would be nice on one hero...
c. Make a unit with the tree model, but make the unit invulnerable, no attack, no movement. And lasts for 2 minutes. Then make an AoE spell (like the Treats Spell) that summons like 6 of them. BUT make it use MASSIVE mana, so the user would be reluctant to use it offten. Then the person who has this spell could block off the main path to their base with it...
d. Enslave (based off charm) - Can only target sheep, gives control of that sheep to the player and gives the sheep true sight BUT the spell "blows the mind of the animal away, and the body can only live so long without the mind" (in game description?) anyway the sheep will die 30seconds later.

6. Making the built towers change ownership properly.
Make a seperate region in each base area.
Make a variable that keeps track of who owns the area.
When a person takes control of the area, have a trigger that selects all units in the region controlled by the previous owner that match the type "Tower" and change ownership (this isn't exact, but you get the idea):

  Spell being cast is "Conquer"

  If target of issued command in region base1
     then
         Pick all units in region (base1) owned by (base1owner)
            If unit of type "Tower" then
               Change owner of unit to (owner of (casting unit))

     Else
         Do nothing
  If target of issued command in region base2
     then
         Pick all units in region (base2) owned by (base2owner)
            If unit of type "Tower" then
               Change owner of unit to (owner of (casting unit))
            Else
               Do nothing
         Set variable base1owner to (player (owner of (casting unit)))
     Else
         Do nothing

and so on for each region....

7. Making it so towers can't be build in a region not owned by you.
Make a seperate region in each base area.

        Send message to player (owner of (ordered unit)): "You Cannot build towers in areas you don't control"
     Else
         Do nothing

and so on for each region..

Apparently it is still bugged. Here is a replay of the game i just played. It ends after my hero is spontaniously removed from the game.

That was a weird replay...

It looked like the "Battle" that happens after 5 minutes tried to teleport your hero to the "battle" area, but ended up killing him instead...

ALSO: Supra - I noticed something that is a bit buggy....
You need the varaible keeping track of the owners of the different bases so that the message "BlahBlah is at the entrance to your base!" is only sent to the player who owns the base and not sent to everyone...

yes i realized that bug about the message last night too. i will deffinately get that fixed. actually. its already fixed so no problem.

KEEP EM COMING GUYS. thanx a lot for the bug report. i will fix em all just keepo em coming!

and please tell me how multiplayer is. i haven't tried it. i opnly tested all alone. is it much fun?

EDIT: about your spell for making trees....guess what the abilty the tree hugger has.(blood mage based unit) he can summon trees. 3 per level. and he can also turn those trees into treants. that is his lvl 6 spell. so i got that one covered;)

o and about that making detect and conquor a unit abilty.....i did TRY this at first. that was my original plan. and i was thinking maybe teleport too. but when i did that it did not give the units the spells. they just didn't work. i don't know why. i will give it another shot tho.

edit: sorry for the double post

edited edit: should i make the towers attack and do small amoutns of damage? that could make it a little harder. or i could make them do no damage but have a slow attack. to keep you at bay while the hero comes back. also i will be making a town portal spell. i was going to have it in the release but it was buggy and you got stuck inside the building and had to teleport out.

I think they Should do damage, that way if a player gets enough gold, they might be able to build enough towers to actually kill attacking heroes. Make it so if a hero is assasinated then the player that killed him gets 100 x level of the hero for gold.
