to put them in a map i think that its the same way u put in a skin, although ive never tried. with TFT editor u open the import window and click the import button and choose the terrain art and import it. then u right click the file in the importer window and choose edit path(might say sumthin a bit different), then u click the custom path check box and then type in the path of the terrain art. then u click OK. after that x out that window, save your map, and close out world editor completly. then reopen world editor and ur map and the terrain art should b wut ever it is that u made it. for ROC editor make sure world editor is closed out, then open ur map with winmpq, insert the terrain srt using the right path as before and then colse winmpq when ur done. then open ur map using world editor and ur terrain art should b wut u made it. NOTE: for the ROC editor, u have to do this every time u save it, so its best to insert them when ur done ith the map and wont b saving n e more. if thats not how u do it then im sorry and i wasted a lot of yours and my time typing all this out.:D |

Alright, I got a good idea. First of all, I'll change the Dalaran and Black Citadel textures, so I have 2 tiles cliff textures. I use Zepir's to change the tiles to all tile. Then, since my metal textures suck, I'll use the Starcraft metal textures. Problem is, I can't find a program that will open StarDatED.mpq. If anyone can find me a program to open this files, then please post it here. All I need is the textures from the Laboratory level in the Shareware version. Thanks in advance. KillR |
