Ok. The problem is the following. I create a new map use TFT terrain and tft units. Then my units are not all TFT. Wyrms have piercing damage instead of magic damage for example and if i remember right, boneyard had old cost. Same with other units. Anything i need to do to get it full tft? thanks.. |

I think I recall Brett Wood saying that the the values in the Map Editor had not been changed, for purposes of backwards compatibility. That doesn't seem to fit with the way they changed the importable .txt files on everyone after 1.07, though. |

Try to change some of the gameplay constants and put some new functions in your map that TFT is required for playing. |

I've run across this. I made a varieity of custom maps back in 1.05. As a result they have 1.05 custom data. When Frozen Throne came out I upgraded them all to TFT, using random creep/item data. Right now, they still use some ROC data.. Ballistas still became Glaive Throwers, and similar reskins took place, and builders can make the TFT buildings, but other elements didn't change (like the whole Frost Wyrm damage thing you noted) A fix that I tend to work with is to remove everything that makes the map 'non-melee', save-and-restart the WE, and put everything back in. (Renaming helps with this). If that fails, you can always export script and such like that, and do massive Copy&Pastes into newly created maps. |
