"Art - Target" and "Art - Target Attachments"

Greets.

How do the "Art - Target", "Art - Target Attachment Point" 1-6 and "Art - Target Attachments" fields relate on an ability?

I would think that "Art - Target" would declare the special effect, "Art - Target Attachment Point" 1-6 would declare where on the unit the special effect would show, and "Art - Target Attachments" (an integer field) would be the number (presumably starting at 1) of these attachments that are used.

However, I tried to set "Art - Target Attachment Point 1" and "Art - Target Attachment Point 2" to "hand left" and "hand right", respectively, and I changed the "Art - Target Attachments" to 2. No special effect showed in-game.

When I don't change the "Art - Target Attachments" field, only one of the special effect locations is used: the first one, "hand left".

Surely multiple attachments points should be possible. And what does "Art - Target Attachments" do, if it's not what I think it is?

The above has some info. SO like, if you wanted the effect to be on the 'left hand' of the target units, etc., you'd put 'left hand' in the field.

Hm, actually, it seems like "hand left" or "hand right" should work, even from that documentation.

I investigated OrcAbilityFunc.txt and found that the Bloodlust buff listed it as "hand, left" and "hand, right". Since there seems to be multiple entries allowed for each attachment point, I'm going to try one entry with "hand, left" and one entry (on a different skill) with "hand" and "left" as separate entries (note that the Obj. Editor delineates different entries with a comma.

And still, this doesn't explain why the "Art - Target Attachments" seems not to function.

It should only work on spells that already have target art.

It still works on some spells that don't have target art written in the editor - like Life Drain.

Heh. I'm using the Shadow Orb ability right now. It assigns art successfully it I don't use the "Art - Target Attachments" field. However, I want to have multiple locations on the body show the art.
