animating with rotating bones

After following the sticky tutorial for getting a new animated model I finally got it a 12 polygon geosphere into the game that bobs around. YAY

But I noticed that bone rotation is not carried over. After viewing the mdl file, the "Bone01" area has subsections for "translation" and "scale" but none for rotation.

Anyone know how to get bones rotational keyframes as well? or does the exporter simply forget to take this step?


Im using republicolas exporter here.

and if anyone has a link to a tutorial/explantion of how to read/write materials and textures in the mdl, I would be happy or something.

if your not using the latest version of Dex, which isn't in the downloads forum AFAIK then your mileage may very of how well it exports for you.

Hop on IRC at irc.wc3campaigns.com #dex to snag the newest version of dex.
