I used the import editor to import some models, but they don't show up in WE or in WC3. the model file is called frozencorpse.mdx and I put it in Units\Creeps\frozencorpse\frozencorpse.mdx But the game isn't detecting it. |

You don't relly need to set paths for models, just assign them to a unit or whatever in the unit editor. The skin path does need to be right however. It's the model field in the unit/etc editor. |

IT didn't come with a skin lol. |

Well, link me to where you got it or just tell me all the info that came with it. |

http://www.campaigncreations.org/war...s-models.shtml All the models here come without a skin, most if not all of them use a skin already made. How do I use a skin already made on these models? Btw what skin does the ice-spider use? I can't really tell... looks like a doodad... |

For the spider, try Units\Creeps\Spider\Spider.mdx or whatever Just put that and then put one of all the spider types out to see which one it changes. Just change the path to the .mdx path that it was based off of. |

IT didn't change anything... |

Sometimes the import manager doesn't work if you do things in the wrong order. I suggest this: Delete the old imported file Save Import the file, and change the extension to something NEVER used Save Assign it to a unit This should work, not always, but usually. The way blizzard made their map files, importing other files can mess things up and warcraft ignores them. |
