Ok, I took and made a custom demon hunter and gave him reg. evasion and the evasion icon is to the right of patrol! No matter what button coordanites I put in, it stays there. It isn't just this move, it is a bunch of others. Yes I know how the button coordinates work I am not stupid, has anyone else encountered this problem?

I would say you were doing something wrong. Remember you can't have two spells that are based on the same blizzard spell on one unit. Remember that you have to change the research and the normal button positions. Remember that if you have two forms such as demon hunter and demon hunter morph that you have to change the abilities that each has.
I would just try to undo things or do things one at a time until you figure out what causes it.

You see that is what I am trying to tell you. I have a custom blade master and I gave him evasion only. I DID NOT CHANGE EVASION! Make sure you understand this. By default, it should not move next to patrol. Would you like a screen shot?

Sorry, I didn't have time to answer your question better the first time, but you shouldn't get angry. I might feel silly when you find out what your problem was. There are four evasion abilities. There is a hero evasion for the demon hunter. There is two unit evasions, one 15% and one 100% and there is a item evasion. You gave your custom unit the Evasion(Item), which has all zeros for its coordinates, and since it cannot be in 0,0 it is going into the next closest spot. When you were changing coordinates, you probably were changing one of the other Evasion's coordinates.

Well, so far this all seems kinda like rambling, but for futures sake (in case you don't know this already), the button placement is probably the problem.

First of all, you must be running TFT. Unless you are running a modified RoC WE, plz plz pzl jsut go out and get tFT...

There are 12 button spots in all, with the top 4 being used for commands, and 2 of the second line being used for other commands. This leaves 6 for spells/abilities (I'm hoping that you don't wabnt more)
_____
lXlXlXlXl <all reserved for commands
lXl_l_lXl <middle 2 open for abilities <-- looks like this.
l_l_l_l_l <all 4 open for abilities

The numbers work like so.
Y (0-2)
\/ Placement of the button up and down
lXlXlXlXl
lXl_l_lXl <X (0-3) Placement of the button left to right
l_l_l_l_l

_____
lXlXlXlXl So Y=0 and X=0 would be the top left.
lXl_l_lXl Y=2 with X=3 would be lower right corner.
l_l_l_l_l

This is all guessing that this is your problem.... I certainly feel foolish, typing this out for no one?

Oh well..... :foot:

ok, people please listen to me.

Please

I used a regular ability, therefore the button position should be fine. I did not touch the button position. Just to make sure you understand this concept, the button position is x=2 and y=2 (to follow HarlequinKnight's b-e-autiful model:D) The whole point of this thread, The ENTIRE point of this thread, is the fact that the button does not go where it is instructed.

One more time, I did not change the button position.

hmm ... it might be a bug with the TFT editor .. =/
