Ive tried alphaeing out the wardens and bandits weapons, but they are only invisble when the unit is shadow melded. It seems like the alpha layer is totally ignored when the unit is visible. This the same for everyone? any fixes? |

That is weird, do you know if it happens to any other unit, like the dryad/demn hunter. If not, maybe the game loads an independent texture for the projectile, but it's very unlikely. |

i've also had trouble alphaing stuff out on the warden. setting the entire alpha channel black barely removes anything. it alphas out some of her ponytail and the front of her armor wings and that's about it. but it's not really alphaed out, just the team colors come through on those bits. also had the same problems with the spell breaker. it would be quite odd if the models were using two different textures. wouldn't seem to make much sense, but then again, what does these days.. :) |

yeah some models just dont alpha out, i had a problem with the revenant if i alphed out the horns on the helmit they would not show before i placed the unit but when i placed it in the editor they appeared again but in white, but for some starnge reason some models you have to alpha in grey not black to make it invisble |

These are the only 2 skins I have had this problem with so far. If you could plz check them out in the attached map I would be grateful. |

r2d2: i'm getting the exact same thing with the warden. i'll keep messing with it, but it's not looking good as far as i can see. ismokeweed: just tried messing around with gray alpha for both the warden and the spell breaker. still seemed to have mostly the same effect as before, although a little bit of the skin was showing through.. not much, just a bit. how light / dark of a gray did you use? i was trying right in between ( 128 for rgb or #808080 for hex if you prefer ).. |

KDEwolf: The models only use one texture and it happens with the shield as well as weapons. I don't understand it. |

Hi, I know this topic is kinda old... but I'm having the same problem now, did anybody ever figure it out??? I'll be upset if you just can't alpha stuff out on the warden =/ |

just to let you guys know, i finally got around to messing with the warden a bit more.. looks like it'll take some model editing ( at least on her ) to get it working. the materials section for the ears ( the part i wanted to edit ) was set for "none", so setting that to transparent, then alphaing them out on her skin fixed it right up. although i have not tested it, this should also work for her weapon, and for the bandit as well. |
