Alright, I need to convert the .mpq movies from Frozen Throne to Mpg or Avi so that I can play them on a computer at school that does not have the game installed...I have tried a program, but the audio is 12 seconds off. It is for a school presentation (movie scene analysis ****) and I am trying to show off Blizzard. |

I think it only works if Warcraft 3 is installed. Then you just have to rename them to AVI. I'm not sure but I think you need the DivX codec as well. You can try that: Copy the file blizzard.ax from your Warcraft II folder to some mobile data storage. Put it into the C:\WINDOWS\System dir (on Win9x/ME) or into the C:\WINDOWS\System32 (on 2k/XP). Take into account that Windows is maybe somewhere else installed. Then you go to Start -> run and type (without the quotes): "reqsvr32 /i blizzard.ax" Tell me if that worked. |

1) Rename those movies to AVI 2) Install the DivX codec. 3) Grab a "Four CC" changer. 4) Use the "Four CC changer" to change the moovie´s ids from 'BLZ0' to 'DIVX'. |

tools> folder options> unselect hide extensions for known file types. Right click on file, select rename, change extension. |

If you don't know what a "Four CC" changer is (I don't even know), then get a Hex Editor like Hex Workshop (www.bpsoft.com). Go to offset 0xBC of the movie files and overwrite the BLZ0 with DIVX. |
