OK, I'll answer you on one condition, zerorules123:

Never, EVER double-post again! If you post the same topic multiple times again, I'm going to come over to your house and shoot your dog.

...Well, OK, maybe not, but seriously: I'm not trying to be mean here, just trying to warn you. Double-posting annoys the heck out of everyone, and not only that, it does NOT make people reply to you any better or faster. In fact it tends to drive away people who might otherwise help you.

Anyway, with that minor rant out of the way, the answer is simple. Hero levels are defined by the gameplay constants. Just go to Gameplay Constants under the Advanced menu in WorldEdit. (Once you have your map open, obviously.) Check the box that says "Use Custom Gameplay Constants" and then scroll through the list. It's alphabetized, and the one you want is "Hero Maximum Level". Just change this to the new max level you want! The only catch is that there is also a limit to how much experience you have, and thus heroes may stop gaining experience before they hit your new max level. Usually this only happens with fairly high maximum levels, though. If you run into this problem, you're going to have to mess with the multitude of options that start with "Hero XP" further down the list. Your goal is to make it so each level costs less and each enemy slain gives you less XP, thus making it so that you CAN reach the top level without reaching the maximum experience limit.

I hope that made sense. You don't need to mess with that last bit unless you find your heroes stop gaining experience before they hit their maximum level. For more info on any of this, just use Search to search for the many old threads about this. Search is found at the BOTTOM of each and every message board page, and it is your friend. :gsmile: Good luck!

I been home came back now ...if they havent done it already follow these simple steps

TFT:
>load the editor
>open ur map
>click on "advanced" drop down menu
> click on the one above or below game interface.
> u will get a list of things like unit stuff etc
> scroll down to where it says hero
> keep scrolling unit u get to HERO MAX LEVEL= the default ia 10, so change that TO anything u like

For ROC:
im not sure this menu is on , so u need to make a trigger involving a hero reachs lvl 10. Replace unit with ....stronger unit etc as u seen on creep wars

@Silversuns: Very nice job, that is awesome :)

@Hezza: As always, u make no sence at ALL! How about waiting to post, BEFORE u know wth ur talking about. I think u know what u want to say, but u suck at getting it out, it's taken you 4 posts to explain a VERY simple thing, and yet you manage NOT to explain it properly...

@zerorules: As Loch said, don't dubble post again! ALSO, USE THE FRIKKIN SEARCH FEATURE! And look tru the MILLION of posts regarding this topic! I'm getting sick and tired of people like you posting stupid questions, just cos your too lazy...

Props to Silver :)

Ack! Thanks, Silver. It was late and I completely didn't think to include some screenshots. *scribbles down a note-to-self* Those are great, though. Now nobody should be confused.
