This is the last development phase of Vexorian Hero Arena, the creation of Special Abilities. Once Heroes had skills called Ultimates, I am replacing them with abilities that grow depending of the hero level The question is from what I need to base the Improvement of the Spell 1) From the Hero's main attribute, let's say that the bloodmage gets a more powerful phoenix depending of his intelligence 2) From the Hero's level 3) From the hero's experience |

I like the idea of basing it on his experience because 1. it works for any ability for any primary attribute - for example, a hero with a primary attribute STR with a skill like Chain Lightning: wouldn't make sense for his STR to affect that skill. and 2. the skill's power would be a continuous function of the hero's experience, whereas it would be a discrete function of his level. I have a personal bias towards continuous functions... so this might not convince some people... |

How about a combination of both Attributes, and hero Level, experience doesn't work well because you don't really "level" up the spell, thus with each kill your spell strength increases and begins to increase rapidly, at mid-level. |

Hero level or hero stat might be interesting, but I wouldn't use exp, simply because that's the same as saying hero level. |

i saw hero level....but than after i thought a little it would also be nice to say a hero's main attribute too. i stick to my vote of level but i think attribute is a nice 2nd option. experience would be cool but i feel it would be way to hard to tweak it so that the increments are small enough to make the spell not ultra powerful. i don't know i just say go with level. |

i choosed experience but what i really think is that the more u use the spell the more it improve and get powerfull like in other kind of game such as morrowind where the more u use sometihing the better u become at using it of course u should be limited also by level so everyone dont stay in one place and use there spell in the void......i don't know it is just an idea..... maybe it can be interesting if not just forget it :p :p |

I forgot to say that each Special Ability is unique, so 2 heroes won't have the same Ultimate. ABM: It might be a good idea, but easy to abuse anyways |
