Making a Unit or Hero invunerable to poison

Does anybody know if is it possible to do this, and HOW?

I tried this:

Event
Unit - (Unit or Hero name) <gen> is attacked

Condition
((Attacking unit) is in (Units in (Playable Map Area) matching ((Ability being cast) Equal to Envonomed Spears))) Equal to True
((Attacking unit) is in (Units in (Playable Map Area) matching ((Ability being cast) Equal to Envonomed Weapon (Neutral Hostile) ))) Equal to True

Actions
Unit - Make (Attacked Unit) Invunerable



But it didn't have any effect on the game...

Spells still affect invunerable units. You could try giving the unit the ability Magic Immunity instead of making it invunerable. That should negate the poisons effect.

Well on the spell envonomed spears or whatever, make one of its targets 'vulnerable'

Do it so that if he is attacked, remove all buffs of type Physical, dont remember exactly what it's called, but that should do it, it can, of course, also remove stuff like stunned and other things, but stun only lasts for like 1 second on heroes anyway so that wouldn't matter that much. Dont remember exactly the name of the action, but its a unit action that removes buffs, then you can decide if it should be physical buffs, magical buffs or both. That should do it.

Envenomed spears is a passive skill, so it might not work like that in the conditions, and I think you need an or in your conditions. If you don't have an or you would have to have a unit use envenomed spears and envenomed spears(neutral hostile).

Magic immune doesn't affect poison (default) or bash (as of TFT).

What i meant, is that you don't even need to use jass or triggers, simply tell the spell not to effect infulnurable units. In the spell there should be a catagory called targets. Just check the box where it says vulnurable, and it won't affect invulnerable units.

or you could do another type other than invulnerable. so than ur unit wouldn't have to be set to invulnerable to do it.

Um, no....
The targets changes who it affects not who casts it. Yes, you can select anything you want it to be able to or not be able to target.

bah i am confusing myself thaz why i just sorta trailed off last time in mid post. i don't have world editor open and i'm starting to confuse myself so i am just going to stop and agree with you on this one. i was thinking about setting the unit to tauren but i think that..well i know that would not work. or would it? aw crap i give up just listen to mr. obliteration.
