An interesting hero ability suddenly came to my mind today: throwing gold coins at enemy to due damage! Actually this is not new as I learned this funny idea from another PC game I played sometimes ago. I think no one has made a similar hero ability in War3 so far, so I made it myself. The effect is better then I expected----- I really laughed when I first tried it! :ggani: Try and see if you like it! |

I like the idea of a gold coin throw. Don't forget to add triggers so whenever it's cast it deducts money from the user's account.. and perhaps prevents usage if inadequte funds are available. Of course, an ability of gold cost would need to be strong to be balancing. |

Thanks. Actually, this is done already. In this demo each throw cost 50 gold coins. Level 1 due 200dmg, 2 due 400, 3 due 600. The ability won't be casted if you can't even afford 50 gold coins. :nono: And of course, if you like to use it in your map, you can adjust the money cost and damage. |

<nod> yeah, he probably got it from one of those FF's. Doesn't the missile art sometimes look odd with the bounty art? If the unit is right next to the caster it would just sit over the target's head for a second. Does it look horrible with the coin item? |

The samurai in FF5 has this ability. Two other RPG games I played later also have characters with similar abilities..... possibly also copy the idea from FF5? |

Looks ok if target is far away, but becomes odd if the target is just next to the caster. Probably no simple solution to it...... |
