Deleting parts of a unit?

Is this possible? I have deleted parts of a texture for a unit (Doesn't even have any color, has that blank square part in photoshop) and have insured that the path is overriding the default file, but when I load up the map it just uses the regular model. Is it at all possible to delete(Or make invisible?) parts off of a unit and I'm just doing it the wrong way?

I've been trying this on the goblin zeppelin. Anything I do to it doesn't show up whatsoever in game. I'm 99.999999999999% sure I got the path right for the file. Can the goblin zeppelin just not be reskined?

Every unit can be re-skinned
Make sure the path is "units\Creeps\GoblinZeppelin\GoblinZepplin.blp"

remember that it's case sensitive.

Import manager is not case sensitive, but mpq archiving is.
