This is the only screenshot I have not showing a magor imbalance. I will post more screenshots tomorrow because I need to leave very soon. These will only be gameplay screenshot.

There are about 2000 doodads, there's just not any in that area. The units are all heroes because it makes the game fun and different. And in this screenshot I just survived an attack from my friend who is a human player and my forces are gonna go into the valley to look for his city and cause some civilian casualties

srry, looks boring... And the part with all the heroes...dump it.. I HATE HAVING MORE HEROES! :)

Let's get some specs, looks like u can upgrade the orcs with the use of mana...I've seen that before, but I kinda like the idea :)

For multiplayer maps, 4000-6000 is a good idea. If you say you have them, spread them out, you don't just want areas to have none.

If you're making all units heros so that they get better over time, don't. Instead, make a trigger:

EVENTS:
A unit dies

CONDITIONS:
Owner of killing unit not equal to owner of dying unit

ACTIONS:
Give abilities to killing unit (Give it item abilities for health bonus, mana bonus, attack bonus, armour bonus, speed bonus, attack speed bonus etc.)

This system works in nearly the same way but without the annoying buttons. Also, have you ever had about 100 heros leveling up around the same time. The lag was not pretty.

That is the reproduce spell. It just creates more guys not upgrade. You can equip weapons to upgrade your guys. But that is the only way

Thanks for the advice and there are about 3700 doodads.

And 35263526 it doesn't lag much I got rid of much of the leveling lag and in a battle there are only 20-40 not a 100. And most of the time a hero will be lucky if they can get pass level 3.

yeah. cool. but the buttons on the side could get annoying.

also, forgot to talk about the map in my 1st post. looks good. nice idea, but i only got the info from your sig. i guess this is the same map. but nice idea. more info is needed.

You can't have that many doodads in a multiplayer map though. 7000 tops IMO.

Well here's another summary of my map. There are two objectives. It depends on who you play. If you play orcs/trolls/black orcs/goblins your goal is to destroy the human players and destroy all opposing clans. If you play the human players your goal is to gather 100000 saltpeter (gold)

Units don't appear out of buildings they are created by reproducing. Orcs are asexual so they can reproduce rapidly. Human players to fight the orcs need to rely on a small well trained army. Orcs rely on numbers. You get soldiers by equiping your civilians with weapons. All orc players have three weapons to chose from. Human players have 7 not counting horses and additional equipment like lighter boots, balanced weapons. Human players have a technological edge against the orcs. Like they can train their soldiers (additional levels, weapons training, disipline training) and have better tactics that they can research. And when resources deplete by their city they don't have to move around.

i take it these aren't Warcraft 3 style orcs. But very cool. Reminds me a bit of Populus.

Man my dad put a timer on my computer and I can only work on Breed 3 hours a day and I can't get anymore screenshots :(
