There's a reason why you don't buy Macs... I haven't met a single programmer who says that he/she enjoys programming on Macs. That's just a cold hard fact... -Fredric |

Well, I haven't really got into any Mac specific stuff yet, but I'm sure enjoying perl on Mac OS X :p. At anyrate, the Blink editor on this site works fine, installing the most of it just like on the PC - If you want to use the MPQ2k part though, you have to download the Mac version from http://customs.macstarcraft.com/ (bless BahumatZERO), move the UnitMetaData.slk in the PC MPQ2k folder to the Mac folder, move your map to the Mac MPQ2k folder, launch MPQ2k, and type in the following line: a mapname.w3m unitmetadata.slk units\unitmetadata.slk , replacing 'mapname.w3m' with your map's filename. That should be it- Good luck. |

Perl is a scripting language, I'm talking about c/c++... -Fredric |
