OK, I decided to test out the map I'm working on in a campaign, so I made one with the Campaign Editor, with 1 map in it, and ran it in the Editor. Unfortunately, there's some sort of problem, because when I click on the button for my map in the Select a Map Campaign screen, it won't load the map! What's wrong!!! |

Hmmmmm... That's certainly strange... not sure on that one, but I'm not at my WC computer until Monday... In the meantime, though, can you carify for me: Have you made sure you actually saved the map in the campaign? Note that after you put a map in a campaign, you must always edit the copy IN the campaign, i.e. by double-clicking on it in the campaign editor. If you had an old copy by itself on your hard drive, it is not linked to the campaign in any way whatsoever. Otherwise... er, just what do you mean by it can't find the map? That it crashes with a "can't find map" error or that it just doesn't display the selection button? A screenshot of the error, if possible, could greatly help. Otherwise, I'll have to get back to you once I get back home and/or pray someone else knows. |

how big is your map file? the campaign editor only accepts maps up to 4mb, i had a similar problem and it was because my map was over 4mb and the screen just kept rolling around when i tried to load it. i took the sound files out and it worked fine, i hope this helps |

I tried reducing the map size, its under 2 meg now that I transferred the files. What it does is when I click on the button, the campaign screen fades, the screen goes black, but then it goes back to the campaign screen instead of loading the map. There are no error messages whatsoever |

Er... if I might be so bold, now that I am home, I do not see a way to run a campaign from the editor... how are you doing this again? |

Ah, gotcha, I got the mistaken idea somehow that you were running it from within WE. Anyway... I am unable to recreate the issue you are having... Sorry. :( Would it be possible to post the campaign file here for us to take a look at? I refuse to give up when there may still be a chance! |

Care to enlighten me as to what was wrong in order to sate my burning curiosity? |
