ok here is the deal. i am tired of terraining my map. its half way done and i am starting to seriously slack off on it. i am looking for ONE and only ONE terrain artist to help me on my new map. you will be given full credit for all of your efforts and trust me this will be a good map. i know once i finally get it running it will be great. here is my description of the map..... MAP DESCRIPTION---- ok this is a hero arena map but not just you normal everyday hero arena. this has full area support including waypoints and to and from town, town portals. there will be no quick fixes in my map. all work will be done the long and most effective way. if there are shortcuts they will not be taken unless they yield the same results. this map is based off of diablo 2 and includes every act 1-5 and not every seperate area but most of them. it will have custom skinned bosses eventually and have the most popular spells from diablo 2...a list of the ones arleady created for my bow zon are immolation arrow, fire arrow, cold arrow, dodge, and multishot. i also have created thunderstorm for my sorceress but i am still hammering out some bugs. i will have the following characters and spells included n the final map.... CHARACTERS AND SPELLS--- Offensive Paladin Zeal(strike opponent multiple times) Smite(hit a target with your shield) Thorns(like the keeper of grove) Holy Freeze(aura that slows enemy targets with cold and damages them) Fanatasism(increase damage and attack speed) Deffensive Paladin Zeal(strike opponent multiple times) Smite(hit a target with your shield) Prayer(raise hp recovery rate) Salvation(resist all elements) Redemption(periodically checks for dead corpses and trys to destroy them for health and mana) Barbarian Leap Attack(if possible character jumps into air and lands on emeny doing enhanced damage) Sword Mastery(just raises his attack power slightly and add critical strike) Battle Orders(Raise all hp and mana for teamates within range for a short time, not an aura... he yells and it raises thier stats) Increased speed for only the barb Whirlwind(blademaster spell) Cold Sorceress Ice bolt(like fireball but ice) Frozen Nova(like lightning nova but slows and does less damage) Shiver Armor(lich Spell) Blizzard(archmage spell) Froen Orb(creates large orb that shoots smaller orbs from it. large orb does massive damage to units and continues through them. smaller orbs does less damage but still a good amount) Fire Sorceress Fireball Ring of Fire(i already have thanks to spellmaster) Firewall(i already have thanks to spellmaster) Inferno(shoots fire from the mouth like breathe of fire but not just one little shot it does damage over time and more powerful) Meteor(metoer hits like the dreadlord spell than does damage over time to area of effect inside fire) Lightning Sorceress Lightning(shoots a bolt of lightning that just goes in a straight line damaging all in its path) Chain Lightning(shoots a bolt that bounces off targets) Static Field(drops enemies health by 1/4 in small area around the sorc. gets bigger area with levels added) Nova(i hope we all know this one) ThunderStorm(periodically strikes a nearby enemy from the sky with a bolt of lightning. runs out after a period of time..like an aura but timed. length and damage increase with lvl) Javalin Amazon Jab(hits enemies quickly and lasts longer with levels and starts at a negative number in added damage) Dodge(avoid attacks going up to 69% at lvl 20) Plaugue Javalin(leaves a trail of posion Behind a thrown Javalin and explodes into a cloud of posion on impact) Lightning Strike(does lightning damage and releases chaim lightning on impact) Bow Amazon Fire Arrow Cold Arrow Dodge(avoid attacks going up to 69% at lvl 20) Immolation Arrow(does fire damage and upon impact it does damage over time to an area around the target) MultiShot(i already have this one thanx to a post last night.) Melee Assassin Claw mastery(improved damage) Tiger Strike(gives assassin a charge which adds to damage when released with a normal attack or dragon flight) Cobra Strike(gives a charge that steals life and mana when released with normal attack or dragon flight) Dragon Flight(teleport to a spot and hit an enemy) Phoenix Strike(adds a charge that adds a chain lightning attack on release with a normal attack or dragon flight) Trap Assassin Fire Blast(throw a small ball that explodes on impact with the ground) Wake of Fire(releases waves of fire when enimies approach it) Lightning Sentry(releases chain lightning when units come near) Blade Shield(sorrounds the assassin with razors and damages any unit that comes close to her, like imollation) Death Sentry(Casts corpse explode on dead bodies near to the trap) NOTE: i was just thinking u could make traps a unit and have her train them with no training time. but i don't know how the whole level system could work than. just a thought. Summoning Necro Raise Skelton(just one and more powerful to make up for being one unit. NO life span. they stay untill they die) Clay Golem(golem made from clay. NO life span.) Blood Golem(golem that has life leech for you and if it takes damage so do you. NO life span.) If you can't do that than add in this curse instead Life tap(attacking units gain 50% of thier attack back in hp..smal area of affect at first but gets larger) Iron Maiden(Like thorns aura but u cast it on enemies and they take damage when attacking) Revive(not bring back your units but bring back the units of enemies to fight for you for a short time. targets increses with lvl and so does life span) Posion and Bone Necro Posion Dagger(melee attack that inflicts posion damage on units) Bone armor(takes melee damage for the necro so he does't waste valuable hp. not abosrbs but takes it all. it has hp too.) Lower resistance(lowers resists to all. magic attacks posion fire all that. lvl 20 reduces it 65%) Corpse explode( blow up a corpse doing area of effect damage equal to 80%-100% of the units health before it died. area of effect increses with level) Bone Spirit( homing Missle that slowly follows the unit until it hits them doing a good amount of damage) Shapeshifting Druid Werewolf Form(may be hard...turns him into a werewolf who gets added attack speed and life) Lycantrophy(adds to life and length when shapeshifting. gives more hp and lets u be in form longer) WereBear Form(turn into a bear that has added hp and does much more damage on attacking) Summon Oak Sage(adds to maximum hp of all units around it. its own unit that looks like a wisp) Fury(Must be wolf or bear form to use. goes into a frenzy and attacks quickly and does added damage) Elemental Druid Firestorm(strings of fire come from the druid burning all in its path) Arctic Blast(like a cold inferno. freezes and slows enemies) Fissure(open up the ground to reveal molten lava that burns units in area of effect) Hurricane(area of effect is equal to your whole screenit moves when you move and anything on your screen takes damage from it) Armaggedon(like starfall but instead of stars falling its rocks and you don't stand still while casting) THINGS YOU MUST HAVE--- 1. i would like to see some previous work. this is not a requirement but it would be a great great help if you are really serious about helping. 2. You must have some knoledge of diablo 2 expansion and should have played it in the past and enjoyed it. It would also be a great help if you still owned the game so that you could glance back at it to see what you must create. 3. You gotta be good at making terrain look pretty. ok well that is about all if i posted this wrong i'm sorry its just that no one every looks in the stupid recruitment forum. and if no one wants to help me than so be it. hehe zeal is not yet finished but i am pretty sure i can do it. i have a good idea of how to do it already. ;) i'm glad to see someone interested already. do you have any maps you have terrained before so i can see some of you work? |

Ill be amazed to see if you can pull off all of these spells, a few don't seem possible to me but then again I have been suprised by what people can do with JASS. |

yes i know some of the spells will be hard....i don't know tho i have a strange talent for making things work. at any rate i think i will get them all made. and if i can't i will replace than with another popular spell. but thanx for all your encouraging words tho das :nono: |

I know how to do lighting sentry, I have a skill very similar, mine was called lighting trap though, it cast chain lighting every 1sec and it goes to level 5. The armagedn spell, I have a thing called meteor shower, its not the whole screen but kinda big and they dont keep falling its just a 1time thing, but as for rocks falling, I recomend, infernal animation, its looks cool :) |

hehe dun worry i am going to do the light sentry my way. create a unit at location and it will cast chain l;ightning on any target within range...it will have 20 levels. and i am going to make armegedon based off of starfall and change the animation to it. |
