I know its the wrong forum bu ive been trying to figure this out for 2 days now and i cant get a streight answer in the modeling forum, and there arent many ppl to help. I just got 3d studio max. my question is, after you make the modle you want. what do you have to do? how do you add the UVW thing? i fallowed tutorials but they dont help! when i export my model and open it with LithUnwrap, I dont have any "materials". the tutorials say there has to be a "default material" there. BASICLY, my question is what do i do after i finished making the model? do i have to add UVW mapping and stuff? PLZ give any info you have. thanx a lot in advance. |

I personally still skin the old fashioned unwrap UVW map under modifiers. After you skin it occordingly export it with republicola's .mdl exporter. Open up the mdl and under Bitmap { Image "<your texture path here>", } Chage ReplaceableId1 into ReplaceableId0 Convert it to an mdx with yobguls and then import it into your map. (Note: What is your model anyway, just out of curiosity??) |

I see, but that only works for 1 object. should i connect all the objects together? or should i do them all seperatly? |
