CCrew	You should do something better than ents. Ents sound gay....do something that would be awesome....like an ancient roman empire. You could even add gates...and a lot of realistic stuff...well that was my idea for a map. Only prob is....im a sucky map maker...who cant even host!emote_confused

Dragon	I doubt gates would work as a unit because I don't think you can "Open" a unit. Romans would fall under humans btw...

Mr. Euthanasia	Make chaos(warhammer/40k) that would be cool as hell; or maybe if that sounds like too much work vampires/lycanthropes. Dark eldar maybe. Possibly wraiths, do something totally new.

If your wanting to play a game like your description...just play age of mythology....most realalistic RTS game i know of right now.
