Guest | please crop your images to make them smaller. think about 56k'ers. your skin is blurry and the nose looks off |

It looks good, the parts are nice individually but they don't blend together very well. |

can we see a pic from the front? |

Looks, okay. Maybe not the best model for a werewolf. What you should really do is apply the muscles, claws, face, etc. in grayscale, and then overlay it with a furry texture. It will look a whole lot better. u need to change the different parts (arms, torso, pants, etc.). Cos I dont think a were wolf would wear a breastplate and pants, I think it would all just be fur. |

just my thought, but if trying to do a wearwolf, why not begin with say, teh satyr or the gnoll? i mean, the beastly bodies are good models, and you can skin them to be more human like. good start so far, though i so agree with the greyscale approach, adding fur all at once at the end is prolly the way to go to avoid funky lookin inconsistancies in it too.... |

I agree with what's been said already by others, also I think you did a good job on the eyes, and you should shorten the ears, I don't think a werewolf would have ears quite that long, they'd be big, but not that big. Overall, I don't think the demonhunter is a good model to use for a werewolf. |

I really like what you did with him. Although his claws are a lil off, I think that ingame they will look fine. I really like the textures and stuff you used. Good job! :D BTW,I know this is kinda off topic, but I dont know where to post this question or where i can find the answer. Zap, how do you make your custom skins show up in warcraft 3 viewer? |
| 10-09-2003, 03:10 PM | #13 |
Make a folder in your war3 directory called units or textures, it's kinda like importing by mpq, but you have to create folders, so the blp of this skin would be C:/Program Files/Warcraft III/Textures/HeroDemonHunter.blp also if the blp and mdx are in the same folder they show up too. |

So, if the unit is in Textures/unit put em in the folder named Textures that i make, and if it is Units/Race/unit/unit then put em in the units folder? Also, would i need to make folders like human, night elf, etc. in the units folder? |

i agree with the man(or lady) that said DH is the worst unit for a werewolf (or mountan king wouldnt be any better:mtk: :ggani: ) |
