whenever i use Photoshop and click alpha1 layer how do you chose WHAT to be alpha. And please no "read the tutorials" cause ive read alot of them and they STILL wont make sense. |

i suppose u use the lasso tool? but i cant find alpha at all :( do u have photoshop7.0? |

As far as I understand it, first you select what you want to alpha out before going to the alpha channel with any combination of the magic wand + marque tools usually. Second, you go to the alpha1 channel then fill in that area with 100% opacity black. If you click the eye on all channels so you can see them all, the area you filled in with black should now be shaded red, and that area should be transparent in game. |
