making a doodad??????

ok i cant make a not destroctable doodad like fire for instance at a place how can i do this

Since there is no way of creating a non destructible doodad, you have to create a custom unit, change its model path to that of the doodad that you are wanting to use, set any other properties (like invulnerability, make sure it cant move...or build anything...), and then use the create unit trigger.

are you sure i would still get the cool brown smoke in the fire if i changed the model becouse that is cool

can i also put it inside of a building or is that imposible or could i make the fire pause it then play it lol if that is ****ing imposible

didn't exactly get that last post, but I think it's impossible...I dunno...might be able to do it some way, but i cant think of a quick way to do it right now...maybe make a unit "hovering" and change its animation height...dunno

ah maybe i can like make a nother map as like the fall of whatever as they are burning so i dont have to???????????
