Magic	I'm not sure Goldwave is still free. Still, there's a program similar to Cool Edit called Audacity. Check it out: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Dark_Templar	Ah yes, goldwave is shareware. However, it's very good and you may use it a lot before having to register. And I think that audacity is not very good...
