that the map editor is set up..it just kind annoys me..esp on big maps...

yea it kinda annoys me too, it tends to slow down a wee when you copy+paste things, and i wish all the individual editors (unit, sound,trigger,etc) were seperate apps instead of part of the world editor

It is set up for graphics, to look like it does in the game, then for speed. There is editors out there that are faster, but i would rather use the world editor, i like it just wish it was faster.

Two things I dont like about the editor:
A- Lags up
And
B- There's a tree limit

if there's a tree limit, it's pretty darn high and is probably justified... I made a map, the biggest size there is, and filled it nearly half way with trees.

Ugh...show me a piece of software, and I'll show you a memory leak...especially if it's as complicated as a piece of gamesoftware...
Find it, report it, and hope they'll plug it.
