hmm....I was wondering if anyone knew how to extract sounds from a game. I want to extract sounds from the Once upon a Knight game to use in a map, but I've never done this before and have no clue if it's possible atm. thanks. |

You can 'rip' sounds by recording them straight out of a game. Go to your Recording Properties (recording>options>recording, close) and set it to Wave/MP3. Then simply record it in something like Goldwave or Audacity. You might want to set the music volume to 0. Or go do a search for the game at google and see if someone's done any utilities for it. For games like Quake 3, it's been done (A Pak Explorer - opens the archive files so you can extract them: graphics, sounds, etc). |
