I so far got the game cache stuff down, but in my rpg, i have it load another map when you go into a pub/inn/shop etc and have it save all the data n stuff and when you leave the pub/inn/shop i have it again save data n stuff, which all works fine, but here is where the problem is/starts, i have it that so far there are 3 maps, MAIN TOWN, PUB, and SHOP. Now when you go into the pub it saves all the data a normal, so when you come out of the pub it loads main town and then i have it restore every single thing, but when i have it so when you leave the shop it for some reason will either not restore the characters, or it will restore them, but from a different game cache. Bassically i have campaign style rpg and x is the main town and it works fine form when you go from x to y and z, but when you leave from z it has problems, but y is fine. any ideas how to get around this? |

The game caches are independant of maps so I can't see why you should have problems with that. I guess there is some bug in your triggers. |

See for maps i have main town, pub, wshop, and main town reloaded, do you think i should just make another main town map so like when you leave the pub it takes you to maintown after pub, and when you leave the shop it will take you to maintown after shop? That's probably the way i should do it. |

What's the difference between the two maps that link back to the main map? There must be some discrepancy right? Did you just copy and paste all the triggers or might you have made a spelling mistake or something tiny like that? |

i might be that, but i haven been testing this stuff for almost a day now, and it works, but when you come out of the shop, it will leave you at the pub n swtuff as if you came out of the pub, but i have been tweaking for hours and still no good out come. |
