I was editing the raider skin, and when I was going to edit the alpha channel, I noticed it was gone from the list! I use photoshop 7.1...Can someone help me? |

you could just create a new alpha channel. |

Make sure you did the skin in .tga format. In .jpg and .bmp, alpha channels are removed (those format's don't ever have alpha channels, i belive), so you'd have to make a new one, re-add team color, ect. ://// |

Something you *may* be able to do is just CnP from what you did and copy it into the raider skin in a different formant (im pretty sure that works, but it sometimes loses quality); or you could change what you have in .jpg to .tga (not sure what program you'd use for that) and CnP the alpha channel back in after creating a new one. CnP'ing what you did, though, would probably be the fastest. I've had this happen on an icon I made after spending about and hour on it ://// Make sure you keep in mind that, unless you saved it as a quite high-quality .jpg, the skin will lose some quality in the areas you paste into. |
