I can't quite perfect the camera angle... I want it to be a first person view, but my computer is gay and wont run the maps that can be downloaded with the trigger in them. I'm starting to get pissed, and if you could just list the trigger so: -It is right behind the unit...i mean really close -The other thing i want is for it to actually work!://// Thanks... |

I've got a map on this, hold on a sec let me get it... it took me forever to perfect it.... here it is. This works for 1 person ,though you can set it for multiple. Trigger 1: EVENTS: Map Initializaton ACTIONS: Camera - Apply First Person <gen> for Player 1 (Red) over 0.00 seconds Camera - Lock camera orientation for Player 1 (Red) to (Random unit from (Units owned by Player 1 (Red) of type Hero)), offset by (0.00, 0.00) Trigger 2: EVENTS: Time - Every 0.10 seconds of game time ACTIONS: Camera - Lock camera target for Player 1 (Red) to (Random unit from (Units owned by Player 1 (Red) of type Hero)), offset by (0.00, 0.00) using The unit's rotation Camera - Set Player 1 (Red)'s camera Rotation to (Facing of (Random unit from (Units owned by Player 1 (Red) of type Hero))) over 0.10 seconds Camera - Set Player 1 (Red)'s camera Distance to target to 1000.00 over 0.10 seconds This should work. The camera will rotate around the characater. It's a bit hard to control at first, but you'll get the hang of it. |

Thanks. The next question i would like to add would be, how could you control the unit using the arrow keys, like how can you move forward, and turn left, or right? |

I don't have WE open RIGHT now so forgive my typos and such. EVENT Player 1 presses the up arrow key ACTION give xunit order to move to location of xunit with an offset of 0,50 towards the facing angle of xunit somthing like that for forward. EVENT Player 1 presses the left arrow key ACTION make xunit face current angle of xunit +5(or -5 for right) I think those work. |

As I tested this new camera, it started to get messed up. It started shaking, and i cant figure out, why? |

you have to fiddle around with the camera smoothing level, takes awhile to find a good number |

I had to mess with it a bit but the camera is working, thanks. Now to try the movement... |

Nah...i can't figure out your description of the movement. I can't figure out how to put in offset. |
