How do I turn my bmp/tga/whatever into a BLP? Also, how do you alpha stuff out, and what does this actually mean anyway? (I know it means get rid of (like weapons) but what exactly is it?) |

to change you images into .blp's open them using WC3 Image Excractor II, wich can be found in the downloads section, and choose to save it as a .blp format. alphaing is like turning it invisable, like you said. think of it as erasing part of the skin so you could see straight through it, or like if you had a hamburger and you took a bit out of it, that area is now empty, right? thats just like alphaing, the skin is the hamburger, and the bite is the alphad part. i dont no how much more clearly(or babyish) i can describe alpha to you. |
