Remember the good ol' days?

Remember the good ol' days of murder at the mansion, when it was all nice and plain and simple before all this new stuff with vampires, and when people actually played the map?

Those were the good old days.

I plan to resserect them.

I'm making a new murder at the mansion, but it's alot more complex, since everyone has skills, and there are now events, like Meal times, in which the killer has a chance to poison the food... things like that. Here's a list of the skills, none of them have levels.

Killer:

Pick Lock: Has a chance to open locked doors
Poison: Poisons a food item, or a course (like dinner and lunch, which are used for events)
Move Silently: Basically wind walk with no speed increase.
Curse: Creates an area which deals damage, slows, or confuses whoever walks into it.

Victims (2 Skills Only, Victims choose them):

Reinforce Lock: Makes it harder to pick a door
Antidote: Cures all spoiled foods, provides resistance to poison.
Observation (Passive): Basically true sight, but in a smaller area.
Disenchants: Has a chance to break curses.

The map is rahter small, max 12 ppl, with a few secret areas, which are well disguised.

There willl be at least 5 different events, in which the killer has to sabatodge them beforehand to deal any damage to the victims. The abilities each cost 10-20 mana, which in this is called stamina (modified interface), which you recover by resting in bed, however, when you are resting, you cannot see anything, and if the killer comes near you, he will kill you while you sleep, and you will not know who it is, so it's a good idea to reinforce your door.

At the end, when the timer ends, you will guess who you thought was the killer, and then, I'm stumped, I don't know how to end... but that's not the point.

My question is: Will you play this game if I finished making it?

I'd play it. I like it how you made the killer have 4 skills and the others can chooses 2 counters.

I think you should do a lot of skills, and items.

U could use the spellbook ability to grant each character unique sets of skills.

Something like a doctor, a technitian, I don't know

I think that would make a bit cooler!

But, hey man, Your idea is great! I voted for YES!

You have to code to do spellbooks, I've tried, it always crashes when you try to use a spell from inside one... anyway, thanks for the encouragement! I'll continue working on it.

Well, two thumbs up to that idea! I loved the original Murder at the Mansion, and I kicked myself for not thinking of it then and I'm kicking myself now for not thinking of this update. If well-done, it could seriously rock.
