Ok here is the weps I have so far in my battle ship game.Mostly human so far, havn't done too many undeads. BASIC Light cannon: shorter range faster fireing cannon. Ground only, takes 2 crew Large Cannon: decent range with slow rate-o-fire. Ground only, takes 3 crew HUMAN Mortar: Heavy long range bombardment cannon, very slow. Ground only, takes 5 crew Bow: gives one of your crew a bow, really cheap and can hit air Gyrocopter Bay: maintains and rebuilds one gyrocopter. Takes 5 crew Sheep Cannon: Simaler to large cannon, but that automated sheep assemboly line leave crewmen to do other things,a little pricey. UNDEAD Shade Cannon: Fires a shade from the twisting nether at a target, slow attack speed avaerge range. Hits land + air, takes 4 crew Energy Channeler: Channels evergy into a small raft that can detonate onto an ememy ship. Takes 5 crew Poison Cloud Generator: shoots a poison gas cloud extreamly fast doing heavy dmg, espesialy to conponets, really,really short range. Takes 10 crew. Gruesome Specticle: Draws the eyes of nearby sailers to it, freezing them in their tracks! Takes 3 crew |

An idea to make B ship makes and whatever kick *** is to use the "Pheonix Fire" spell, this will cause them to fire in every direction without even having to look in that direction, much like real ships... And of course edit it like the model to make it fire mortars and stuff |

my ships allrdy do that.... The main unit has a peonix knockoff, while the cannons are invis units that always move to the ship, so it fires while moving. PS: does any1 know how to make a trigger that will move units to 1 out of 3 random spots longways on a unit, but all at once and all to a random of the three? cause that would make a real cool broadside effect |

iv seen better tho.... try some with like triggers maybe like for the cannon thing like say Ultra Beam Cannon: make like a dummy spell and when u cast it have 10 invisible units circle him and have them fire like say a altered shockwave or sumthing that looks like cannon and it will look like somthing off of golden sun: the lost age... from first person view... just make shockwave and change the art to like whatever and make a dummy spell like roar. and then it would be like... E: unit cast ability C:ability eqaul to roar A: create 10 invisable units at cordinates A: order the 10 invisble units to cast shockwave somthing like that... if u dont wanna use it thats fine but am just sugestion it... but if u do i can give u the exact triggers because i used this in a my testing spell maps.... |

1)ark-1)ragon , I can't get too complicated in fear of bugs, each cannon can be bought multiple times by multiple people and you can directly select them. Supra God CrK , What I mean is say there are 3 points on the ship ok? the bow,stern and center. I want to move a whole unit group to these points randomly, not as a whole but each goes to a differnt one randomly. |

k, i got ur trigger: variable: MoveMe - region, array trigger_1 E: map ini C: A: set MoveMe[1]=region001 set MoveMe[2]=region002 set MoveMe[3]=region003 trigger_2 E: A unit enters region001 C: Owner of entering Unit equal to Player X A: Pick every units in region001 and do Order picked unit to move to MoveMe[randomly 2 to 3] then u just have to make 2 more triggers like that above :D the reason why i didnt make them all in 1 trigger was to avoid the units walk to the exact same region they just entered, but u can change that if u wants to :D |

no, that doesn't fix the thing im stuck on, I need them to be ON a ship so #1 that whould make the ship go around like crazy #2 still doesn't fix the following ship problem, I can allrdy do what you suggested but the problem is making them follow ontop of the unit going longways(like allong the side of the ship). |

u could change the condition to unit-type owned by player X and if u want to make the ship walk able, then make it a doodad and then press the walkable thingy icon... maybe that help |

no, you dont understand. the ship moves, it is the only unit that you directly control, you can't even select the cannons. |

Ok, I got that to work with a little help from polar ofsets. Howwever I am still open to any weapon ideas.. |

Hmmm, judging by the ractions, or rather lack of them I am going to attach a tiny bit rigged ver of the map with 1 player slot so you can see what this is all about, look what happens when you go broad side agaist the enemy. EDIT: you buy weapons at the dock by the way :D |

I like your map idea and the time u seem to spend on it, i am sure it will be a great map... by the way why don't u inspire from really ship modern or ancient for they have pretty much weapon ..... something like the chained cannon ball wich where used to cut the mat and slow the ship, or the "eperon" at the front of the ship wich where used to knock the other ship and damage it, or the bengal fire used to set fire on an enemy ship, or the modern ship cruising missile (very long range), or the machingun AA to kill air unit, the undead could use some vaudou or magic power weapon, such as summon monster, freezing the sea and the ship, cursing the ship mate so the miss their attack....whatever... |
