Does anyone have a model for a bed that I can use? Just a plain simple bed? The editor doesn't seem to have one... if no one can come up with anything, can someone tell me what might look good as a bed, using just objects from the regular editor? This is fairly important, as I can use such a model in a number of maps that I am making? Thanks in advance, Eriond |

Bingo. The BLP path is Textures\Bed.blp |

Thanks!!! This could really help me. Now I just have to read the tutorial on how to import this thing and I'm all set! Thanks again! |

Import using the TFT import manager (Hoping you have TFT...) Then change the .blp path by going to "Edit Properties" to \Textures\Bed.blp \ or /? I dunno, I would expect \... |

Erm am I doing this right? I inport the model, and the skin, rename the path of the skin to \Textures\bed.blp, then jsut create a custom doodads with the model as the imported file? I tried that, but the model is loading... What am I doing wrong? The readme is a lil vague... |

The path to the texture should be Textures\bed.blp, as ThePersonThing said. You've got a bit too much slashiness there. Otherwise, it sounds like your procedure is sound. This should do it. Although, you should know that, unless you add the files to their corresponding directories in your Warcraft III\ folder, they won't show up in the World Editor. That's fine, though, because they should still show up in-game if you imported them correctly. |

Hmmm.. I fixed that, but the model STILL doesn't show up in game, it's just a shadow with a pathing map. Does it have something to do with the MDX to MDL conversion thing? I've imported it as an MDX but the editor keeps changing the path to MDL... |

The editor always calls .mdx files .mdl, and they're (I think) always actually .mdx's Perhaps the file is corrupted, or, possibly, the skin is corrupted. From your description, it sounds like the skin is either not loading properly (probably because either one of your files is corrupt) or it wasn't loaded properly. Or ThePersonThing told you the wrong path. EDIT: Indeed, I looked at the file documentation, and the skin should be in Doodads\bed.blp |
