Gate Unit

I have successfully created a gate that is a unit, erm... sort of.

By basing the "Open and Close Gate" spell off of Bear Form I have made it switch pathings with another unit identical is every way except that units can walk through the center.

The problem is animating it properly.

I want it to open by playing the "Death Alternate" animation, but perminantly stay open until switched into "Closed" mode.

And when I switch back to closed ("Night Elf") form, to play "Stand" animation. The stand animation is rather easy though because its the default one...

MY main problems are:

Keeping it playing the Death Alternate animation, I want it to remain open.

and

Finding the right event/condition to detect when he switches back to closed ("Night Elf") mode.

Try play animation using rare animations (or something similar to that) and use the death alternate animation

But he doesn't stay that way...

you can try setting animation speed to 0%

If you need it to attack/move then short of editing the .mdl you're out of luck...

If not then it should stay in the death animation until you play a different one
