i downloaded some skins from internet but i cant use them. I tried the toutrials which provide by the website but still cant do it. So i want to ask some expert to show me how to exchange the skin........please.........emote_confused |

k, i extracted the skin (Demon Hunter) by using "Warcraft III Image Extractor II", i saved it as a "Truevision Targa (TGA)" file and i used "photoshop" to edit it. When i done, i saved it as .tga file again and i saved the image in the Image Extractor as a BLizzard Map file and i opened the "WinMPQ", and add the skin to one of my map (Textures/HeroDemonHunter.blp). And i check the map but the demon hunter's skin didnt change so im asking some expert why............. |

The process is sound... some checks tho' When you say 'Blizzard Map file', you mean .blp right? If not, then it should be. I don't use WinMPQ, as it wont import for me. Make sure it shows the file in the Map MPQ after you import or if you have TFT, use the World Editor Importer to do it. |
