Hmm... I thought I read somewhere you need the a modified World Editor to be able to make units have tree models. If I'm wrong about that, than just change the path to one of the tree model paths, and make SURE that you have the version of the tree you want (I beleive its would be something like Descuctables\Tree\AshenvaleForest_V_1.mdx don't use that model, I doubt its the right path) |

im not sure, but i think i read somewhere you cant really make a unit have the tree model because the model for the tree is actualy a bunch of combined models. |

mwahahhahahha i know what o do....and ill never telll.....ok i gyuess i will, you have to convert the treem odel to a mdl, and then chaneg its texture, it will have a replaceabel id for its texture, openup the destructbale slk and look for the texture that the particular replaceable id corresponds to |

Guest | in other words: convert the desied tree mdx into mdl format. Search for a line with "replaceableid" and delete the line (not the word but the line). Then between the two " signs, input the correct path for the texture that the tree uses. As Nicoli already stated, the easy way to find out your desired texture tree is to open up WE and goto doodads editor and copy the texturepath (it would be called as replaceble texture path) Save, convert back and now the unit should use the tree model with a skin |
