Hi guys, Wc3campaigns received over 50 maps for the map contest and the staff is currently in the process of narrowing it down to the finalists. In order to give adequate attention to each map, it will take some time before we can even start to consider the winner for the contest. Between Rise of Krill and the map contest, the staff has been strained to the max. At the moment, about half of the contest maps have been reviewed. We will try to keep you guys updated about the contest. Personal comments: I've been truly impressed by the quality of the maps submitted for the contest. It is obvious that there are many talented mappers that are willing to spend countless hours refining and polishing their maps to near perfection. As much as I'd like to review each map and give feedback to everyone, it just won't be possible. All in all, I see a bright future for Warcraft 3 maps. Not only great single player campaigns, but multiplayer maps as well. Yours, Mr.123 |
