how to get Doodads to overlap (ie, to create full walls)

I've got a tiny problem here...how do I get doodads to overlap? Especially to get the walls to connect properly (as in the game itself...)

Also noticed (and I'm guessing you can answer both things at once) that in some maps doors are smaller or bigger than 100%...how do you modify that... (please don't tell me I'm going to have to hex edit...I hate that...)

Nice try, but if it was that simple I'd have figured it out myself. Also, ya might want to know you can just drag the doodads around to move them...

This still doesn't allow me to put doodads TOO close to eachother... Hasn't anyone ever tried to make a wall? The stone wall doodad is used throughout campaign maps and always has one ending or both, with or without the small turret, sticking in the other, adjacent doodad. The world editor doesn't allow this, so I was hoping there was a "free move" mode or similar...Perhaps there is a third party editor out there that allows this...which reminds me : what is this blink editor? Where could I get it?

hes right about the way you move doodads close together Ctrl+Numpad keys, and resizing doodads you double click on them and change the %.

Ok first of all, my biggest problem is solved and I thank you all for that, you rock, kudos. If ya ever happen to come to Belgium, come by and I'll buy you a beer. Next, I know how to resize doodads...problem is many, such as the walls & doors don't allow it. How to get around this since in many, even Blizzard made maps, they did modify it.
I was right in my reply to ganon's first post since he didn't mention the CTRL (control) button...yet! And without, it doesn't work...anyway, thanks!

In his "first of all posts" only 1 or 2 people knew the answer...the rest was fidgeting around without a clue about what was going on...kinda funny.

And you can use the enter button to go into the properties of doodads ( & other stuff) as well...bloody handy when they're in a tough spot to reach.

THE QUESTION NOW : How to force resize for those doodads that don't allow it by default... (such as gates, stone walls,...)...
