Guest | How do I use doodads for structures and vice versa (the models I mean)....The unit editor is so incredibly limited... Same for getting the proper pathing maps etc...what do I need to get or do to be able to choose whatever file I want-available in retail warcraft 3 of course (I exported the file list inside war3.mpq to a txt, that much I can work out). |

this isnt terribly difficult, i found that if you use the enhanced WE you will be able to change the model of the building without too much trouble. Use the unit editor and select say the townhall for example now you want to go to where it says model used ....... then edit that line with say something like a crystal shield its a doodad from cityscape or something any way you would enter Doodads\Cityscape\Props\CrystalShield\CrystalShield.mdx minus the .mdx at the end and wolah! it shows the townhall as a doodad you should get yourself a list of the different models used in the game so you can find what best suits you have fun! |

Guest | But the enhanced world editor I found merely enabled the hidden units, where can I find the one you're referring too? I can't fill in the fields as I want too, it just pops up the damned unit list and you have to select an icon-which does not include any doodads of course. |

Guest | In all honesty, I can't find the one you're referring to...I can't even find a world editor enhanced section...where is that supposed to be???? (Sorry if it's really obvious to you...I just don't see it, not even under the WC3 campaigns download/tools section...) |
