Would it be possible to change the skin on a model in game? This means without morphing, switching units, removing units and the like. I mean, just SWITCH skins in game.

Hmm... It doesn't seem like it would be... easiest thing would be remove the unit(s), then create a new one in its place with a very small (.001) or no wait

Yeah from what I understood it was impossible, I didn't know if anyone found a way.

Because each model has a reference to the skin inside it, so unless you could define a series of different skins, it would be impossible.

Thanks anyways guys.

what about the beastmasters summons? isnt there only one unit in the spell data for his spells? they change skins on the different tilesets though... not sure if that has any effect on anything... ever

also, cant u define different skins for a model? or is that only for separate parts? (as in, using more than one skin, like the units skin, and gutz.blp [the dead stuff skin]) i know **** all about modelling, but perhaps some1 else could prove that the stuff i said was horribly horribly wrong?
