i got another question now. i put the file under textures\priest.blp but it still brings up the old priest skin, why? |

i uploaded my skin into the war3x mpq, under bloodpriest.blp but when i load it up in editor it gives me critical error. The picture shows up in Image Extractor when i load it up on my desktop, but when i upload it, it doesnt work. I have no clue what is going on! Can someone help me? |

Don't upload the skin into your MPQ, upload it into you're map. Just get TechMPQ. Select Add/Replace file, in the first field select the blp, in the second select the map you want to put it in, and in the third type in Textures\BloodPriest.blp. Also, after you import a skin, if you save the map in WE (which includes testing the map from WE) the skin will disappear, you have to make a map, place the unit you skinned, save it, import the skin as I said, then test it from TFT. Another way you can do it, in which you can save as often as you like, start up the WE and go to the import manager. Import your skin and press custom path and enter Textures\BloodPriest.blp restart WE and your skin should be on that map permenantly, unless you remove the import (with this way you can save as often as you like and it won't disappear.) |
