Here is the zip file, it contains several files: Mitsurugi.blp: the skin Mitsurugi.mdx: the model Mitsurugi_portrait.mdx: the portrait model BTNMitsurugi.blp: the icon DISBTNMitsurugi.blp: the disabled icon BTNNightmare.blp: the icon for Nightmare DISBTNNightmare.blp: the disabled icon for Nightmare For the last two files, i included them this time because i received many PM asking where the icon is... I "borrowed" the icons from soul calibur's official website...:ggani: Also I got asked alot with how to import the files and get them working in game, so here i will show the way how i import the files: 1) make a folder in the warcraft directory called "Units", go inside, make "Other", go inside again, make "Mitsurugi". 2) u should now in the path "c:\program files\warcraft iii\units\other\Mitsurugi" or something like that, now unzip Mitsurugi.zip here... 3) Open up World Editor, go to import manager, import the 5 Mitsurugi files. 4) change all to use custom path: "Units\Other\Mitsurugi\Mitsurugi.blp", "Units\Other\Mitsurugi\Mitsurugi.mdx", "Units\Other\Mitsurugi\Mitsurugi_portrait.mdx", and for the icons: "ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNMitsurugi.blp", "ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtonsDisabled\DISBTNMitsurugi.blp" 5) create a new unit, change to model file and icon to Mitsurugi ones. 6) save the map, after u exit World Editor, u can delete the folders + files that u just created... My way of importing file maybe dumb, but it works for me at least... Use the files anyway u want, skin/edit/improve/spread/use it = no problem, as long as credit is given.... PS: Can a mod plz move this thread plz?:ggani: |

You made these from scratch im assuming ? so you must have used 3DS Max, I was wondering, If u know of any plugins that can convert Lightwave .LWS or .LWO files into 3DS max usable files. what I really need is a way to bring my animations and UV-Co-ordinates as well as Model (of course) from Lightwave -->to MAX. If you know of anything that would help me here...let me know. Im just waiting for a conversion program or something to help me here....god that would be nice. :) Thnx. |

very nice. =) btw... the model's base is the blademaster it just is edited very nicely by Jackoo to make it look like Mitsurugi =) |

yes it is an obvious skin of the BM, kuz thats alot of work to do from scratch when the blade master is already a ninja-like character. Very nice looking, quite impressive...i'd download it if i wasnt the laziest mapper alive to the guy asking about lightwave: i'm a lightwave man myself and i think its completely nazi how the people that started this model editing used 3ds max...i prefer lightwave...but they're practicaly the same thing, so i wonder...why isnt there any lightwave imp/exp scripts?...i mean if people can make scripts for some program milkshape (never heard of it before until the other day) then surely somebody else whos capable of scripting has heard of lightwave!! |

lightwave is alot different because i was going to write a mdl importer/exp but the text parsing commands in lightwave are much differnet from those of milkshape and 3ds max, also blizz used 3ds amx thats why we did too |

can you post a version of him without a weapon? In the map im making your weapon is dependant on what item you have (ie axe spear etc) |
