The Golden Panda

I posted this on tidesofblood.com, but apparently it wasn't very well liked. So, I thought I'd give it a whirl here. I was going for a gold dragon motif, but the only "dragon" indications are the dragon symbols on him (Panda SUCKS to skin, all just repeating areas). Anywas, nuff complaining, here she be:

I like it, it's more then just a recolor, for example, take the gold plates or however you would call them underneath the eyes (think those are really neat). Pretty good, I like the theme, it just seems that the golden hat doesn't work...I don't know, but it just doesn't look right. (Oh and I like the gold nails on his toes ^^)

It isn't a recolor, you can't do bright colors on his suit with just recoloring. Thanks for the nails, that was kinda an unexpected bonus cause they use the area from the top of the hat.

not bad, i like the idea, but, I think you should make his robe a golden silk kind of thing, the hat needs to be a lighter gold, and i really liked the designs on the keg, i dont know if its just recolor but it looks great. (on the keg...)

well i think as long you recolor and redraw some things, i think its a good skin.

wft? all he did on the face was add the gold, as far as I can tell...

Suit needs better shading and gold doesn't look gold. Change more too.

I have no clue what you people are talking about. I think it looks just fine aside from a few touch-ups it might need. Good job.
