How do I edit skills in more detail?

Like i want to make a non-hero skill into a hero-skill and add levels and stuff.. how can i do that? do i need some special program?

go slks the object editor sucks(just use it 4 renaming spells b/c your lazy lol) look in tortorial forum theres some spell editing tortorials

actually if the spell already exists and you want it to be a hero spell now, just go to the object editor, under abilites find the spell... either make a copy of it or jsut edit the original... there is a field that says

hero ability: false
change it to true, click on a different spell then that one again (this refreshes the spell) then change the number of levels to whatever you want.

if the spell already exists I don't recommend getting into slk, but if you need a brand new one it's the way to go.
