Walls?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but i don't post very often :( .

Anyway, i was surfing the usual war 3 sites (this one, razorclaw's site, b.net, wariii.net) and i saw a post that some dude made a model or skin for a buildable undead wall. Does ANYONE have any clue what i am talking about? I would like to use it in a map i am making, but i have no idea where i saw it... It has to be fresh still, it was like a few days ago at most.

While i am on the subject, i was wondering if anyone had good tips for making buildable walls. I sort of have one working for humans, and orc was easy (mini-burrows make pretty cool walls :ggani: ), UD i have a crappy ziggurat doodad for now, and NE is still a big question mark (maybe that thorny brush doodad?).
The problem i have is i am a complete war editing noob, so triggers and importing stuff is very scary (haven't attempted that yet...).
The thing i need to solve right now is how to make a wall die when its killed. What i mean is after its killed, the wall graphic remains for exactly 27 seconds before it just disappears... So i need some kind of trigger involving death, and replacing that unit with death graphic, and then removing the graphic, correct (how am i going to figure out all that mess ://// )?

One last thing, if anyone knows where i can find other wall models, that would be awesome to know. Even path names of the less obvious ones (like the big stone parapet looking ones from many of the human campiagns?) would be helpful.

well, i have a solution for the NE....it kinda looks nice in my head (like an idea) but i dunno how it's gonna work in WC

make a new building, set a pathing like a farm and model to the Entangling Roots......the only problem is that the entangling roots move all the time, so that's where the beauty of it disapears...but u can try it anywayz.....

cost 5 gold, have 500HP.....build time = 1

Well for the NE you could use a doodad of Northrend (i think) it are the Thorny Vines (Im not sure if it has a variation)

anwyay wouldn't it be better for the humans to use the Doodad wall (named 'Stone Wall') for the Undead the wall in Ice Crown and the Orcs the Black Citadels Walls?

Yeah a wall of entangling would hurt the eyes...

The thorny vine doodad you speak of is exactly what i was thinking of doing, however, i looked through doodads for about an hour the other night, and found no such ones for orc and UD that you mentioned (black citadel and northrend ones??). As for the stone wall, the problem with that is that there are like 5 different ones, and they randomly generate. Well. I guess that isn't a problem as long as i know which number is the one i want... But what of that parapet wall. You know, that big one that units can even walk on.

And what of that trigger, does that sound right? I have yet to try it out, i have never gotten a trigger to work before :( .

You, i think the problem might be is that it doesn't list all the tilesets for the doodads, and the ones it does list have all the same exact doodads... I have been using USMSE "all units version" lately, would loading up the default one help?
