All my skins turn out to be very blurry, although they seem sharp in the blp.
I see many people who have good detail
in their skins, and theyre very sharp too.
is there a "trick" with Ps7 to get sharp skins ?

firstly, hard work, say 5 to 10 hours maybe more on a skin and secondly double your skin size (512x512) youll get much better results. another little tip would be contrast, it can really make the difference.

i have a question about doubling your skin size....do you have to shrink it back afterwards...wouldn't the skin be to big for the unit if you double it? or do you just mean zoom in(prob not tho)?

No, you actually doube it to 512 x 512 and keep it that way. It just...works.

I don't believe anyone can give you Step by Step instruction, but I can give you tips.

Try to distinguish lines, don't blend or blur things together.
Contrast in colors make the skin look sharper
Doubling skin size (like stated before) helps
Use sharper brushes, not a "wet" airbrush.
