This is Sopho, Some 9 cool icons I made from photoshop. There are very different styles and types that will help you in your maps and campaigns. The icons are in JPEG image format and should work when importing them into your maps/campaigns. (I've tested them and they are fully functional) If you want some more, I'll make more, If you are not satisfied with them, PM me for ones you want. |

Actually, that specific icon is a modified version of a hidden icon within WC3. He just took the NE face and coppied it several times. |

well if you copy it how do you make it more "transparent" |

EDIT~ damn snuck in before me, i did the icon in photoshop, NOT PAINT!, i copied the elf face, made it into a new layer, move it to the right slightly, and changed the transparency well its the beta shadowmeld icon, alot like the beta mana sheild for the bloodmage, and then theres the "drain" which is alot like life drain+siphon mana, with blue smoke coming out of a knights eyes and green smoke out of his mouth, all i did was copied the face and made it transparent, i think it looks cool, but it was showing about qhat the icons should look like... |

The fact of the matter is that the low end Icon, while a copy of an already existant icon, is still better than Sopho's icons. Sopho, to begin, you need to ensure that you create a basic line image that has a definate form. Your treasure box should at least resemple a rectangle, but you basically "colored outside the lines". |

To say the least, they could use some improvement. It's good that you want to make icons free hand, but it's better to start out with blizzard icons and then work on them. As you practice and improve your drawing skills then you can try making your own icons and make them seem semi-decent. Also, if you're going to draw free hand utilize filters to improve your drawings. |

Icons from screenshots work good also, WC# veiwer is good because its just the model against a specified color background, then maybe play with that picture, and use blizzard made icons for the borders, which look very good, that basicaly exactly what i did for my treasurechest one |

First off, it's "work well". Second, I am curious to see if Sopho takes any of our suggestions. |
