Ok, This is my problem. Im doing the terraind for a cinematic map or any sort of map and I was wondering how to get the Large Mountains or Cool looking cliffs. If you have seen COTN or any other mod with it then you know what im talking about, those huge moutains or when making a moutain side and you want a straight cliff going up from the ground. COTN has many of these types of things and I would like to know how to work that out of the terrain. Any advice would help me alot. Thanks. |

You can do this with UMSWE. Go here to find the download link (don't forget to download and install the hotfix): http://www.wc3campaigns.com/forums/s...threadid=30679 |

Thanks for the point out Starcraftfreak. I allready have that program, and i have read throught it all and tryed out a few things with it but still have no luck with the cliffs. I was wondering which Terrain Item to use in the UMSWE editor to make these cliffs. Thanks again. |

the raise\lower tool you have to keep the mouse button clicked very long to get really steep hills |

If you already have UMSWE, you should be able to do this. |

Ok, to make a mountain with a flat top you can try this, using the raise tool, click and hold on an area and move the mouse around a little and it will raise the area till it can't go any higher, when it gets to that high, re-click the area and do the same thing it should raise some more. Now do that to a really large area then use the flatten tool to make the top flatter but be sure to use a smaller size so if ya use the biggest block or circle don't use that one to flatten it. Hope it helps -Mister-Peepers |
