Try to open your Windows Control Panel, go to screen preferences, open the color map, like you want change background color, and see the numbers that you need for your colors. |

Or take a class about color. Or learn to program hex colors in HTML. |

Alright, as far as color codes, you're mostly right. Actually, the code you want is |c00RRGGBBtext|r. The 00 is the amount of transparency used. You don't want your text to be transparent, so set it to 00. The other parts are the amount of red, green, and blue used. For your colors, they would be approximately: orange |c00ff9900 purple |c009900ff pink |c00ff99ff teal |c0000ffff yellow |c00ffff00 To make them match the team colors exactly, just monkey around with the amounts of each color until you're happy. |

actually its works fine fine with |cff used it in many of my maps :) no bugz yet discovered, or is there ? |

That's interesting; I'd never tried it with ff. Perhaps the transparency only works on text in certain situations? Like text tags over units? Or maybe I'm just bizarrely wrong, but 00 does also work. |

If you need a color chart for hex codes go --> HERE <--. I use this all the time with the |c00######Text|r |

Comparing our links, Das Jank, I think I prefer mine. Webmonkey is good for all kinds of stuff like that. The layout seems more organized, and it's all on one page. On the other hand, it's interesting that your list has some names for the colors. Maybe if I need some text to match the trim on my house, or my new sweater... :Heh: |

Didn't notice your page but now that I looked at it, it has less colors then the one I use. I didn't even see different shades of gray on it. :yup: |
